Warren Buffet അങ്ങനെ ഗൂഗിൾ വാങ്ങി 🤑

PLUS: "Don't know AI = No JOB" | L8R by Innov8

In partnership with

Warren Buffett just did something he avoided for decades

He finally bought a big chunk of Google’s parent company, Alphabet.

When the world’s most cautious investor suddenly bets billions on AI

You know the game is changing.

And it makes you wonder…

If Buffett is moving into AI, what about the giants already inside?
Why is OpenAI paying Microsoft almost a billion dollars a year?
Why is Meta telling employees to show their AI skills or fall behind?
And why is Buffett suddenly buying Google after avoiding tech for years?

I’m Alex, Welcome to L8R by Innov8.
Let’s DIVE DEEP 🧠👇

In today’s post:

  •  Leaks show how much money OpenAI sends to Microsoft

  • Meta will grade employees on how well they use AI

  • OpenAI finally fixes ChatGPT’s “—” dash problem

  • Warren Buffett buys a big piece of Google (Alphabet)

💸 Leaked Files: How Much OpenAI Pays Microsoft

Big AI is very expensive.
New leaked papers show how much money OpenAI gives back to Microsoft for all that computer power.

📰 What’s Happening?

  • A tech writer got secret money records from OpenAI.

  • The files show OpenAI paid Microsoft about $493 million in 2024.

  • In just the first 9 months of 2025, OpenAI paid Microsoft about $866 million.

  • OpenAI and Microsoft have a deal:

    • OpenAI gives around 20% of its revenue to Microsoft.

    • Microsoft gives around 20% of money from Bing + Azure OpenAI back to OpenAI.

  • OpenAI is spending billions of dollars to run its AI (this is called “inference costs”).

  • Most of this money goes to Microsoft’s cloud, plus other cloud companies like CoreWeave, Oracle, AWS, and Google Cloud.

🚨 Why It Matters

  • AI is not cheap at all. Running models like ChatGPT costs billions each year.

  • OpenAI and Microsoft are stuck together. If one side has a problem, the other side feels it too.

  • If OpenAI is spending more money than it makes, some people fear we may be in an “AI bubble” – like a money balloon that can pop.

  • Other AI startups will look at this and ask:
“Should we build our own chips and data centers instead of paying cloud giants forever?”

⏭️ What’s Next?

  • OpenAI will try to earn more money fast – from Pro plans, business deals, and custom GPT tools.

  • Investors and governments may ask for more clear reports about who pays what.

  • Cloud companies may fight harder for AI customers, with discounts and special deals.

🧪 Meta to Employees: “Show Me Your AI Skills”

At Meta (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp company), just working hard is not enough now.
You must show how you use AI to get better results.

📰 What’s Happening?

  • Internal notes say: from 2026, Meta will grade employees on “AI-driven impact”.

  • In 2025, this is practice only. People can write about their “AI wins” in their self-reviews.

  • Bosses want to see:

    • “How did you use AI to save time?”

    • “How did AI help you get better results?”

  • Meta is building an “AI Performance Assistant”:

    • It works with their internal assistant “Metamate”.

    • It can even use Google’s Gemini model.

    • It helps employees write reviews and feedback using AI.

  • This is part of Mark Zuckerberg’s plan to make Meta an “AI-native company”.

🚨 Why It Matters

  • AI use is becoming part of your job score, not just a bonus.

  • Not only coders – marketing, HR, operations – everyone is pushed to use AI.

  • Other big tech companies are saying the same:

    • Microsoft: using AI is “no longer optional”.

    • Google: staff must use AI tools to stay ahead.

  • People who learn AI early may get better ratings, promotions and bonuses.

⏭️ What’s Next?

  • In 2025, employees get a “trial year” to learn and show AI-based work.

  • In 2026, AI metrics will officially count in reviews.

  • More trainings, tools and internal games (like Meta’s “Level Up”) will push people to adopt AI.

  • Expect debates:

    • “Is it fair to judge everyone on AI skills?”

    • “What about non-technical roles?”

✍️ OpenAI Fixes ChatGPT’s Em-Dash Problem

You know this thing — it’s called an em dash.
ChatGPT used to spam it everywhere — even when users begged it to stop.
Now OpenAI says: okay fine, we fixed it.

📰 What’s Happening?

  • On 14 Nov 2025, Sam Altman posted that ChatGPT will finally listen if you say:
    “Please don’t use em dashes.”

  • Before this, ChatGPT loved using “—” so much that people could spot AI writing just from the punctuation.

  • OpenAI says the model now follows custom instructions better for style and tone.

  • New tone presets are live, like:

    • Default, Friendly, Efficient, Professional, Candid, Quirky

    • Plus older ones like Cynical and Nerdy

  • You can also tune:

    • How short or long answers are

    • How warm or formal the tone is

    • How many emojis you want

  • Memory is also rolling out: ChatGPT can remember your preferences (like “no em dashes”, or “always use bullet points”) across chats – if you turn memory on.

🚨 Why It Matters

  • Users get more control over how AI writes. It can sound more like your voice.

  • The em-dash meme showed that small style issues can break trust in AI writing.

  • With better customisation and memory, ChatGPT feels less like a robot and more like a personal assistant.

  • But: if AI text looks more human, teachers and companies may find it harder to detect AI-written content.

⏭️ What’s Next?

  • Expect more tone options and deeper controls (maybe “sarcastic”, “storyteller”, “legal”, etc).

  • Models will get better at following very detailed formatting rules.

  • Custom GPTs plus memory can become your personal writing partner that knows your style.

  • At the same time, schools and platforms may build new rules and tools to handle invisible AI writing.

🧓 Buffett Finally Buys Google (Alphabet)

Warren Buffett – the “Oracle of Omaha” – has loved Apple for years.
Now his company, Berkshire Hathaway, has finally bought a big slice of Alphabet, Google’s parent.

📰 What’s Happening?

  • In its Q3 2025 filing, Berkshire said it bought 17.85 million Alphabet shares.

  • That stake was worth about $4.3 billion at the end of September.

  • Alphabet is now one of Berkshire’s top 10 U.S. holdings.

  • At the same time, Berkshire cut its Apple shares again:

    • Down to 238.2 million shares from 280 million.

    • In the past, Berkshire owned over 900 million Apple shares.

  • Even after selling, Apple is still Berkshire’s largest holding (around $60+ billion).

  • Berkshire is sitting on a record cash pile of about $381.7 billion.

  • The company has been a net seller of stocks for 12 quarters in a row.

🚨 Why It Matters

  • Alphabet is a core AI + cloud company. Buffett avoided most tech stocks for years, so this is a big shift.

  • Selling more Apple and buying Alphabet shows Berkshire wants to spread its risk and not depend on Apple alone.

  • The huge cash reserve means Berkshire is being careful. It thinks many stocks are expensive right now.

  • When Berkshire buys a stock, many investors see it as a strong signal of trust. Alphabet getting picked is a big badge.

⏭️ What’s Next?

  • On 1 Jan 2026, Warren Buffett plans to step down as CEO. Greg Abel will take over.

  • People will watch:

    • Will Abel keep the same careful style?

    • Or will he do bigger, bolder deals with that giant cash pile?

  • Berkshire may keep trimming Apple and banks, and may grow in areas like insurance and services.

  • If Alphabet’s AI and cloud business keep growing, Berkshire might add more shares later.

🚨 Quick L8R Summary

  • OpenAI paid Microsoft $866M in 2025, showing huge AI compute costs.

  • Meta will grade staff on AI use starting 2026.

  • OpenAI fixed ChatGPT’s em-dash writing bug.

  • Buffett’s Berkshire bought $4.3B of Alphabet and cut more Apple.
