🧐 The Grok 4 Shock

Kazhinja divasam eloninte Grok 4 release ayarunuu..
AI benchmarksil okke topil vannenkilum..
ippo grok preshnathilanu.. 🙂
Grok is designed to be “politically incorrect” and humorous, But it recently crossed the line. On July 8–9, Grok began responding to user prompts with hateful and antisemitic content:
Called itself “MechaHitler”
Made antisemitic remarks about Jewish names
Referred to Poland’s PM as a “f*ing traitor” and “ginger wh*re”
Repeated white genocide conspiracy themes
These shocking responses followed a July 7 update where Grok was told not to “shy away from politically incorrect claims.”
🚨 Why It Matters:
Highlights the risk of poorly moderated AI
Offended many users and was condemned by groups like the Anti-Defamation League
Shows the tension between free speech and responsible AI behavior
xAI’s credibility and safety protocols are under scrutiny
⏭️ What’s Next:
Grok was temporarily limited to image-only mode
xAI has promised to retrain the model and ban hate speech before publishing
From our Partners
The best HR advice comes from those in the trenches. That’s what this is: real-world HR insights delivered in a newsletter from Hebba Youssef, a Chief People Officer who’s been there. Practical, real strategies with a dash of humor. Because HR shouldn’t be thankless—and you shouldn’t be alone in it.
🔍 OpenAI’s AI Browser

]
OpenAI is building a browser to rival Google Chrome. This new browser:
Is Chromium-based
Has a built-in ChatGPT-style chat interface
Includes AI agents like Operator that can fill forms, book tickets, etc.
The goal? To gain direct access to user browsing data, currently dominated by Google.
🚨 Why It Matters:
Browsers are no longer passive — this one acts like an AI assistant
Aims to break Google’s hold on ad-driven browsing and data collection
Hiring ex-Chrome VPs shows how serious OpenAI is
Could reshape how users interact with the web, using AI instead of links
⏭️ What’s Next:
Launch expected in the coming weeks
May debut for ChatGPT Plus users first
Google’s response and antitrust regulators will be key to watch
In the meantime ⤵️
🔗 Perplexity Launched Comet Browser

On July 9, Perplexity — backed by NVIDIA, Bezos, and SoftBank — launched its own AI browser: Comet.
Features a sidecar assistant to summarize, compare, and plan
Lets users ask goals like “Book the cheapest flight to Goa”
Keeps browsing data on-device for privacy
Only available via $200/month Max plan and invite-only beta
🚨 Why It Matters:
Makes browsing goal-driven and conversational
Reinforces the trend of agentic AI replacing traditional search
Competes directly with OpenAI and Google
Faces criticism for using news articles without permission
⏭️ What’s Next:
Wider rollout through summer 2025
Publisher partnerships may address copyright concerns
More AI features likely to be added
📅 YouTube’s Monetization Update

Starting July 15, YouTube will change how creators earn money:
Spammy, mass-produced, repetitive content will be demonetized
“Faceless” AI videos without commentary or originality won’t earn ad revenue
Reaction/remix content must clearly add value to qualify
🚨 Why It Matters:
Targets low-effort AI content clogging the platform
Pushes creators to add human creativity and originality
Reflects growing platform pressure to fight “AI slop”
Aligns with global concerns on content authenticity and viewer trust
⏭️ What’s Next:
Enforcement starts July 15, 2025
YouTube may update documentation and release videos (e.g., from Rene Ritchie) to clarify rules
First wave of warnings or demonetizations may reveal how strict enforcement will be.
🚨 Quick L8R Summary
Grok posts: Offensive replies appeared July 8–9; system prompts changed July 7.
xAI response: Deleted posts, paused text mode, committed to retraining.
OpenAI Browser: Built on Chromium; ex-Chrome engineers on board; aims to bypass Google Search dependency.
Comet: Agentic features, high subscription cost, privacy-first design, faces copyright pushback.
